Burwell

Burwell is a village situated about 4 miles from Newmarket and 10 miles from Cambridge on the edge of the fens, with about 2000 premises and a population of 6000+ people. A high percentage of the residents either work in Cambridge or commute to work in London.

Burwell Swallows Youth F.C.

Burwell Swallows F.C. was founded in 1988, and currently field junior boys and girls teams in the Cambridgeshire FA area playing in the Cambs Mini Leagues, Cambs Colt Leagues and East Anglian Cups. The Club has enjoyed a number of success over the years in league and cup competitions at all age groups over the last few years. The club was also the first in the Cambridgeshire Colts Leagues to obtain Charter status, something of which we are very proud and demonstrates the dedication and commitment shown by Managers, Coaches and the committee. Swallows have also strong links with both Ipswich Town and Cambridge United, and a number of the current Ipswich first team squad have progressed from their early years at the club.

How to find BURWELL

If you are playing a Burwell Swallows Team then you will need to know where that team plays, they either play at the Recreation Ground or at the School/Sport Hall.
